Cascades Overlook

Bad Business!

After being refused the right to install a minimal exterior surveillance system, and falsely advertising a 2BR + Loft as a 3BR apartment, being charged $1000 due to an earlier billing / accounting mistake on the part of the property management company, we decided to move, calling them to give our 30-day notice.

Cascades Overlook Apartments in Sterling, VA (a Kettler property) charges an extra 2-months rent in their rental agreement, which my wife and I were okay with paying, but then they charged us for a 3rd month of rent at $1950 / month because they claim that we did not give them 30 days notice.

Bottom line - the management is not flexible and has a very short-term memory.
